Every year I say that I am not going to watch The Bachelor on directv, but then I see a preview and I get sucked in every season. This year I said I was not going to watch it because the guy who is the bachelor is a guy that was on a previous season of The Bachelorette. Not only was I not a big fan of his during that season, but I also did not like the bachelorette from that season. Every season of The Bachelor includes a sweet girl that I always root for the entire season that usually gets dumped by the bachelor near the end of the season. It also usually includes a girl who stirs up drama throughout the season. It always seems like the bachelor is keeping that girl around for the dramatic effects and he usually dumps her near the end of the season. I have gotten sucked in again this season and I spend my Monday nights glued to the TV. My husband pretends that he does not like the show, but he spends every Monday night beside me watching The Bachelor too.

I visited Internet.Clear.com and upgraded our internet package to make sure that I was getting the fastest connection that we could get. I recently started working full-time. It was a shift because for the last fifteen years ( my kids were small), I have been working part-time and had a lot more time on my hands. Now that I work full-time, I don’t have time to waste. I have to make sure that I get everything done quickly and efficiently so that I have a little bit of time at home at night to relax with my husband. I just can’t afford to have frozen internet and not be able to get things done that I need to. I have definitely had to become more organized and develop better time management skills. One of my favorite things to do right before Christmas is go visit Santa. Yes I know I am way too old to believe that a big man in a red suit will come down my chimney and bring me presents but it’s a tradition that I always have a visit with the man on Christmas Eve. So, this Saturday, I will set my Georgia security system then head to the local department store on my way to mom’s for dinner. Hopefully there won’t be a long line. There usually isn’t. Most of the children have already given him their list of wants and are home excited to see what he will bring that night. While there I always have my picture made for my mom. She keeps an album of just my pictures with Santa and it’s fun to look through all the pictures over the years. All the hairstyles and the fashion choices, good bad and horrible, are there for the viewing. As well as the Santas, good bad and horrible. Some years he’s more realistic than others!

Education is one of the passports to a good life. That was what my father used to tell me when I as a kid. That is also one reason why no matter how difficult the circumstances are, I did my best to get a College Education.

For me watching television is a fun thing to do, but when I am able to see the people that are making guest appearances on some of the shows I watch it is even better. That is when I knew that it was going to be a great episode of a show when I noticed that Olivia Munn was going to be on the show. Now many people may not know about her, but she is a great actress that was on the G4 network as a guest host on one of their most popular shows.

The show I'm really into right now is actually a real estate themed television show called, "Million Dollar Listing." You can find it on the Bravo Channel on Tuesdays evenings at 10 o'clock. The show is set in Los Angeles and follows three of the most successful, young real estate agents in the area as they make small fortunes selling homes in some of the most plush neighborhoods in the country. The show is now going on its fourth season and is currently following Josh Altman, Josh Flagg and Madison Hildebrand. Each season is six episodes long with each episode covering an hour.

I've checked out all three prior seasons on TV By Direct and for whatever reason, I enjoy the aggressive personalities and techniques the agents use to make their sale. Now, if they were my agents, I would change agents the very next day, but for the purposes of reality television, they are perfect. Sometimes they seem like they're a little too over the top for the express purposes of television, but I don't mind this aspect as it is good for a few laughs. It's also shocking to hear what houses go for in the Beverly Hills, Malibu and Hollywood areas. Especially considering you can get bigger houses here in Texas for much, much less. Anyway, if you're looking for an over the top real estate reality show, this is definitely it.
